Understanding your Business: We collaborate with you to gain a deep understanding of your business as it stands today and your vision for its future. Our goal is to comprehend how your business serves its customers – both internal and external – and to grasp the intricacies of your “system” and culture. This allows us to recognise the current and future demands on your leaders and managers.
We also examine your core values, any existing behavioural frameworks, and the history of development opportunities provided to your teams. Highly Interactive & Experiential: What distinguishes all our interventions is that, whether virtual or face-to-face, we ensure everyone is engaged in the learning experience, through exercises, break-out rooms, discussion groups and, where relevant Action Learning.
Forum Theatre: We have a proven track record of collaborating with professional business actors to create realistic workplace scenarios. These scenarios allow participants to practice critical skills such as building rapport, navigating challenging interpersonal dynamics, giving constructive feedback, and offering support.
The immersive nature of these sessions adds significant depth to the learning experience. Feedback consistently highlights the transformative impact, enabling participants to step out of their comfort zones and engage in authentic learning within a supportive and safe environment.
They appreciate (through feedback from the actors in-character) and learn about the impact of their instinctive approaches and learn to develop alternative ways to connect, engage, deliver critical messages and support people as they find solutions to their problems.
360 Feedback & Personality Assessment Tools: With our Associate Team we are able to offer a range of 360 feedback tools and personality measures including the Schroder 360 Feedback Tool, Myers Briggs, People Styles (Insights Dimensions), Leadership Circle Profiling, OPQ32, Hogan Measures, Aptitude and Ability Tests (Verbal & Numerical Reasoning).
Measuring Return on Investment: We have significant experience helping clients embed learning and measuring return on investment. Our programmes involve learning logs and pre / post course work. Using behavoural 360 profiling pre and post course, we measure the change in the contribution of participants. We also can offer templates to work with the Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Training Evaluation.

With your Business: Involving Key Business Stakeholders
We encourage the involvement of key stakeholders from across your business to help participants deepen their understanding of leadership and management within the commerical context and culture of your business.
This could include masterclasses, Q&A sessions, training delivered by leaders from the business and commercial scenarios drawn from the business where participants compete against each other to develop solutions to the problems presented.
We support internal colleagues to develop the relevant materials and co-facilitate sessions (as required).
External Validation: ILM Qualifications
Prior Consulting works in partnership with Xenonex Ltd, an ILM approved centre.
We are therefore able to offer prorgammes where the content is aligned to a specific ILM Qualification in Leadership & Management. Your organisation gets the best of both worlds - a programme tailored to your businses needs and the opportunity for your people to gain an ILM qualification

Case Study
In 2018, Marshall asked Prior Consulting to develop an Emerging Leaders Programme. To meet their needs, we developed an 9 module highly interactive programme, including an induction, 8 modules (including modules delivered by leaders from the business), presentations from senior leaders, 2 x 360 feedback (using a 360 tool based on the Marshall Competency Framework designed by Prior Consulting) enabling participants to appreciate their progress (before and post-programme) and an optional ILM qualification.
The programme is now in its 9th Cohort with over 100 graduates, many of whom have now been promoted to senior roles in the business.
