How we work:

Understanding your Requirements: We engage in meaningful conversations with you to understand the challenges and opportunities you aim to address through the training initiative. We explore what is currently working well and how it can be leveraged (built upon), identify what isn’t working and why, and gather insights from your internal and, where relevant, external customers. Additionally, we consider any constraints your team members may have that could affect their ability to participate in training, ensuring a tailored approach that meets their needs and schedules.

Co-creating Solutions: Based on our discussions, we share our insights and recommendations, and collaborate with you to co-create workshops or training sessions. We design a format tailored to the specific needs and learning styles of your participants, ensuring a customized and impactful experience.

Highly Interactive & Experiential: What distinguishes all our interventions is that, whether virtual or face-to-face, we ensure everyone is engaged in the learning experience, through exercises, break-out rooms, discussion groups and, where relevant Action Learning.

Digital & Hard Copy Materials: We produce materials to support the learning experience in whatever format is required, including pdf, hard copy, Miro (and other virtual collaboration platforms).

Call to Action: At the end of every session, participants are asked to commit to the actions they will take to implement their learning.

Follow-up: To ensure you get a positive return on investment, we encourage line managers to take a personal interest in the learning of their team members, enquiring how workshop participants are experimenting with and implementing their learning.

Examples of Recent Courses Delivered:

The Power of Working Relationships

A course designed to help participants build powerful working relationships with stakeholders, learning about the neuroscience of communication, the brain’s threat system, working with body language, tone of voice, emotions and an awareness of personality preference to adapt to the needs of others. A powerful, experiential workshop delivered to over 200 participants with fantastic feedback.  Available in a 1 day and 2 day format.

Being Accountable

This workshop focuses on personal and team accountability for results, on setting clear and challenging targets and proactively reviewing progress to make sure goals are achieved. We explore what being responsible and accountable actually means in reality, the factors which facilitate accountability, how to build an accountable culture within your team, how to turn-around situations where colleagues are avoiding accountability and the relationship between accountability and trust. A workshop packed with practical help, support and tips delivered in an engaging format!

Maximising your Personal Influence

This programme is designed to be run using participants’ real-life case examples.  Each participant comes to the programme with a real situation in mind in which they want to have greater influence.  As well as the programme materials, participants are equipped with a work book which, by the end of the day, has become a fully mapped-out influencing strategy to achieve their particular objective. We explore how to build influencing goals, understanding who you need to influence, what makes them tick, identifying the best influencing strategy and the skills and behaviours required to persuade and create a win-win outcome for both parties.

Managing & Leading Cross Functional Teams

This programme is for people who lead cross functional teams (matrix teams). The workshop helps you develop and improve the skills and behaviours required to lead and manage a high performing team.

Cross functional teams by their very nature require leaders who can both deliver projects and manage complex stakeholder relationships. Influencing without authority, relationship building, managing the expectations of other line managers, managing upwards are all skills that leaders need to be able to use to be successful.

Day 1 enables you to develop the skills and behaviours required. You will then go back to your teams and put the skills into practice. Day 2 which is held 6 weeks after Day 1, enables you to reflect on your learning using an Action Learning format. In this way, you will not only learn from your own experiences, but also from other members of the group.

Building Client Relationships

This experiential workshop explores the skills and behaviours required to build powerful, effective client relationships. You will learn how to build rapport with your prospective customers, understand the signals and signs they offer which communicate their personality preferences, enabling you to adapt your approach. You will appreciate where your POWER comes from in the relationship – your personal POWER, you positional POWER and your knowledge POWER. We use Forum Theatre working with actors to offer safe space and time to experiment, to try out different approaches, to build your confidence such that you’ll be in a great place when you next cold-call a prospective customer. Delivered as a 1 day or 2 day workshop.

Working with Recent Graduates

This 1 day experiential workshop has been created to help managers deepen connections with colleagues who have recently joined the workplace (some may use the term “Gen Z”). Recognising and appreciating the positive differences in outlook, perspective, and thinking styles that many recent graduates offer, we have a fantastic opportunity to explore how to get the best out of emerging working relationships. The session is run using a Forum Theatre approach, enabling every participant to work with a business actor who in real-life is also a recent graduate. Working with real-life scenarios, participants have the opporutnity to explore different approaches to connecting and relationship building, building confidence to take back to the day-to-day environment. A 1 day workshop.

Dealing with Employee Relations Issues

This workshop has been created and delivered to help managers explore and practice approaches to handling sensitive employee relations issues, recognising that the breadth and depth of issues managers are called to work with today has increased significantly.
